Conant, Arizona - May 31, 2018

Charlotte Conant Fox, the first American woman to reach the summits of three 8,000-meter mountains, has passed away at the age of 61. Fox, a renowned mountaineer and survivor of the infamous 1996 Everest disaster, died last week after an apparent fall down the stairs at her home.
